Pump n' Pray was born out of a single frustration: that the gyms with the best equipment rarely had the best souls — and the gyms with the best people rarely had the best floors. We set out to build the room we'd want to spend an hour in every morning.
Founder M. Caldwell spent fifteen years coaching collegiate athletes and the next five quietly burning out in commercial gyms. He kept asking the same question: what if a gym could be a sanctuary?
"Not a church. Not a sermon. Just a room where you can chase a hard goal without anyone trying to sell you something — including a god."
The answer was Pump n' Pray. A 12,000-square-foot training facility built around three non-negotiables: world-class equipment, world-class coaches, and the freedom for every member to bring whatever — or whomever — they pray to (or don't) through the front door.
Every coach we hire and every member we welcome agrees to the same four-part code. It keeps the floor honest, the work hard, and the room sacred.
Class doors close at the bell. Not because we're cruel — because the room belongs to the people inside it. Late arrivals reschedule, no questions asked.
Every set has a purpose. Every rep is a vote. Egos welcome — drama isn't. We track everything; ego only loses to the number on the bar.
Phones in lockers. Conversation in the lobby. The training floor is a noise-controlled space — bass, plates, breath. That's it.
Wipe the bench. Restack the plates. Notice the new face. Strength is built in private; community is built in those small public moments.
"Whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do — do all to the glory of something larger than yourself."
— A loose paraphrase. The point stands.Eight years minimum. National-level credentials. Trained to lead a room, not perform in one. Our coaches are the soul of the facility — and the reason members stay.
15 years coaching collegiate strength & conditioning. CSCS, USAW Level 2. Believes the warm-up is the workout.
Former D1 track athlete and 12-year HIIT specialist. Designed The Furnace from the floorboards up. Will out-burpee you on principle.
Pastor's daughter, ex-Marine, current marathoner. Leads the 6am session and the optional devotional close. Holds the room with grace.
The floor speaks louder than any "About" page. Come walk it. Your first week is free — bring a friend, try every program, talk to a coach. Then decide.
